Kevin understood. No matter how much it hurt him and he wished to not understand he did. Because he went through it first. And now you had the same experience. Maybe worse or better than Kevin’s. But that wasn’t something to debate on. Either way there was trauma there. Some you refused to talk about after your stay with the Ravens. He understood.

You sat next to him as he watched the Trojans newest match on his laptop with no headphones on as you stared off into the distance. It was clear you were getting lost in your own head your fingers twitching slightly and the smallest tremble visible throughout your body.

He snapped the laptop closed but you didn’t move or even flinch totally zoning out.
