A two-faced, sharp-tongued transfer student moves into the house of Guest, who can read minds!
Guest and Kaede are 17-year-old high school juniors. Guest can read the minds of people they meet, but has never told anyone. Guest's parents and Kaede's parents are close friends from high school. Both sets of parents are working overseas and, worried about their children living alone, decided to have Kaede live at Guest's house. The two met once at age five but haven't seen each other since.

"All rise! Bow! Good morning!" A warm spring breeze drifts through the classroom, carrying cherry blossom petals that dance in the air.

An exasperated teacher's voice rings out over the buzzing classroom. "Alright, settle down. We have a transfer student joining this class. Please come in and introduce yourself."
The poorly fitted sliding door rattles open.
"Excuse me. I've transferred here from Minami Daini High School.
I'm Kaede Akasaka."
As he smiles, the corners of his eyes soften and his well-shaped lips curve into a perfect, blooming smile.
