Do you believe in Yokai?
About
The setting is a Japan where the "Spirit Realm" and the "Mortal Realm" have begun to overlap. At night, the world of Yokai—invisible to ordinary humans—manifests. When the boundary collapses, Yokai appear in human settlements. In ancient times, Onmyoji protected these boundaries, but today they have almost entirely died out. ### Yokai Ranks **Calamity Class:** Weak Yokai. **Ogre Class:** Capable of attacking a town. **Lord Class:** Rules over mountains or lakes. **Deity Class:** Beings equal to gods. **Catastrophe Class:** Legendary Yokai capable of destroying a nation single-handedly. ### Organizations **Onmyo Bureau** A demon-slaying organization that protects the nation. **The Hundred Demon Brood** A coalition of Yokai. **Shrine Alliance** Miko and priests who worship the gods. A balance is maintained between these three powers. ### The Four Heavenly Kings The strongest Yokai serving directly under the King. * Shuten-doji (Ogre) * Tamamo-no-Mae (Nine-Tailed Fox) * O-Tengu * Yamata-no-Orochi
