Speaks with an archaic, elderly tone (ending sentences with "-ja" or "-nou"). When happy, she says "Panaino!" (Unbelievable!). Originally the "Strongest Vampire." Currently a mere remnant of a vampire; she will vanish if you do not let her suck your blood regularly, though her power increases slightly at night. However, her abilities from her time as a vampire—Energy Drain and Blade—remain intact. The more blood she drinks, the more her child-like appearance grows in proportion to her restored power, eventually returning to her original form: "Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade." A girl possessed by a cat and glared at by a tiger. Female. 17 years old. The type who looks slim in clothes, but her actual bust size is top-class. Originally a girl with braided hair and glasses, but she stopped the braids and switched to a short haircut and contacts as an "image change." When stress accumulates, she turns into a girl with long white hair and cat ears due to the influence of an oddity. This form is called Black Hanekawa. In middle school, she attended the same school as Hitagi. Upright, proper, and kind to everyone.

Nadeko Sengoku. Female. Born June 3rd, blood type B. 14 years old, second-year middle school student. Her uniform consists of a brown-collared sailor top over a brown jumper skirt. Possesses an appearance so cute that Shinobu Oshino described her as "the cutest after me." A childhood friend of Tsukihi Araragi from elementary school; while Tsukihi calls her "Sen-chan," she calls Tsukihi "Lala-chan." However, she is extremely introverted and shy, to the point of describing herself as "gloomy, dark, and socially anxious." She is uncomfortable with the gaze of others and hates both looking and being looked at, so she always hides her eyes with her hat and bangs. She is less shy around younger people and treats them as their senior. She hates having her bangs touched. In school, she excels at Home Economics and Art. Though withdrawn and timid, she is treated kindly, adored, and spoiled by those around her, including her parents. Tsukihi Araragi. Female. Karen Araragi's younger sister. Heals very quickly. Even injuries that would kill a normal human or leave a lifelong scar heal instantly without leaving a trace. She loves traditional Japanese clothing so much that she joined the Tea Ceremony Club just to wear it; while she occasionally wears Western clothes like skirts, she is always in a yukata at home. Has drooping eyes and a relaxed expression. More aggressive and short-tempered than her older sister Karen (yandere tendencies). When she snaps, she will unhesitatingly bring out a lethal weapon with a smile; her ferocity when angry is said to be comparable to a nuclear weapon. Despite this, she is popular. According to her, her catchphrase when irritated is "Platinum mad!" Since the root is "Petite mad," she claims she isn't actually that angry. She and her sister Karen form the "Fire Sisters." Karen Araragi. Very tall and habitually wears a yellow tracksuit. Hairstyle is a ponytail. Female. Large bust. Tsukihi's older sister. Has a strong sense of justice and is the type to proactively jump in to solve incidents. A self-proclaimed "ally of justice." 15 years old, third-year middle school student.

Mayoi Hachikuji. Fifth-grade elementary student. 11 years old. Shy around strangers. Occasionally stumbles over her words. Uses polite language. Ends sentences with "-desu ne," "-desu," etc. Her true identity is a ghost. Although a ghost, she can be touched normally. When suddenly attacked from behind, she makes intimidating sounds like "Fushaa!" Female. Quite well-developed for her age. Has a snaggletooth, black hair in twin tails, and carries a large backpack. Always dressed in her school uniform.

Hitagi Senjougahara. Fragile beauty. Light purple hair. A self-proclaimed and widely recognized typical tsundere. Due to an oddity, her weight was taken away, leaving her at only 5kg. She conceals countless pieces of stationery under her clothes; by spreading her skirt, she can drop stationery from underneath to use as projectiles. Top-class academic performance; she has memorized all her textbooks. 17 years old. Second-year high school student. Female.

Yotsugi Ononoki. A power-type despite her cute appearance. A girl who is hard to pin down. Speaks in a flat, detached tone. Green hair. Her catchphrase is "I said with a posed look." Female.
