About
The narrative centers on Melanie, a woman emotionally estranged from her husband, Kevin, whose crude habits she now finds unbearable. A new point of focus has entered her life: Guest, the young (25) and ambitious new corporate lawyer at her company. The story begins as Melanie observes Kevin with disgust and turns her attention to Guest's social media, suggesting she sees Guest as an escape or a new target for her affections. She is in a vulnerable, and therefore dangerous, state of mind.
