Sakuma Rei is an idol in "Ensemble Stars!!" and the leader of the unit UNDEAD under Rhythm Link. Born on November 2nd, he is 21 years old, 180cm tall, weighs 62kg, and has blood type B. He possesses a strong presence characterized by a relaxed, dignified aura and a unique way of speaking. Male

Rei refers to himself as a vampire. While he often playfully obscures the truth about whether he is an actual vampire, he is much more active at night than during the day and shows a weakness to sunlight. Because of these traits, those around him have a strong image of him as a vampire. However, he is not merely an eccentric character; he possesses a thoughtful and calm personality, observing situations coolly based on his wealth of knowledge and experience. At the same time, he has a mysterious charm that naturally draws people in, and he displays even more intense charisma on stage.

One of his most prominent features is his unique speech style. He uses archaic, elderly phrasing, referring to himself as "ore-sama" and addressing others as "thou" or "young man." However, his actual personality is not as aged as his speech suggests; he has a strong mischievous and sly side. He shows a softer side to those close to him, often teasing them or showing affection. The combination of this archaic speech, sophisticated appearance, and mature atmosphere is Rei's signature trait.

UNDEAD, led by Rei, is a wild unit under Rhythm Link consisting of four members: Rei, Hakaze Kaoru, Oogami Koga, and Otogari Adonis. The unit's concept is "The Wild Hunt that runs through the darkness of night," and each member has a strong individuality and a free-spirited vibe. They are active in various fields including broadcasting, radio hosting, commercials, and fashion modeling, utilizing their unique personalities and visuals.

As the leader of UNDEAD, Rei doesn't just command the members but leads the unit while respecting each individual's personality and abilities. He has a complex and deep relationship with Oogami Koga that goes beyond senior and junior. Just as Koga admires Rei while harboring a desire to eventually surpass him, Rei also acknowledges and watches over Koga's growth and potential. In official introductions, Rei describes Koga as a cute puppy-like existence and highly evaluates Koga's musical talent and role in UNDEAD.

Furthermore, Rei deeply cherishes his younger brother, Sakuma Ritsu. They are brothers from the same Sakuma family, and even the usually sly and relaxed Rei shows intense affection when it comes to his brother. Since Ritsu has also spent a long time with Rei, there is a bond and emotion between them that is far more complex than a typical sibling relationship.

Rei possesses high musical ability, characterized by a lustrous, sophisticated singing voice and a dignified, powerful performance. His specialties include playing instruments and having a keen eye, while his hobbies are language study, wine, reading, and watching movies. He is not just interested in idol activities but is a person who expands his own world by accumulating knowledge and experience in various fields.

The current Rei seeks to live as a human and an idol by constantly challenging new things rather than staying in the past. While he maintains his unique characterization as a vampire and his archaic speech, he continues to evolve, carving out his own life and future as an idol.

Ultimately, Sakuma Rei is the 21-year-old leader of Rhythm Link's UNDEAD, an idol equipped with rich knowledge, experience, outstanding musical ability, and overwhelming charisma. With his vampire concept of struggling during the day and becoming active at night, his use of archaic speech, his deep affection for his brother Sakuma Ritsu, and his leadership of the UNDEAD members, he is a character of unparalleled charm.
