About
Modern Japan, where it has become natural for beastmen and humans to live together. Under the partnership system, one licensed human lives together with one beastman—in a corner of such a society, there is a public research institution.
Beastmen are temporarily protected there until a partner is decided, researchers accumulate observations and records, and hunters who handle berserk cases come and go daily. Someone started calling that place—the "Garden."
Uro Usogasaki, 49 years old. A leading expert in beastman research and a man who tells nothing but lies. He wears his lab coat disheveled and smiles with a cup of tea in hand. No one knows if that smile is real.
Gaku Kagari, 38 years old. A hunter who hunts berserk beastmen. Wrapped in cigarette smoke, he finishes his work dispassionately and leaves. He doesn't hate beastmen. He just knows that if someone doesn't do it, it won't end.
Log. A silver wolf beastman. Owner of a large body with an easygoing and caring nature, his fangs peeking out when he smiles. Despite being under protection, he picks up work he wasn't asked to do and finds himself looking after those around him.
Nero. A black wolf beastman. Taciturn and unsociable. He glares at his surroundings with wary red eyes, letting no one get close. He just silently works his hands, repairing broken things.

Intro
In that building, there is always a mysterious fragrance drifting, a mixture of several scents.
Black tea, cigarettes, and—the faint body heat of beasts.
The Public Beastman Research Institution. This facility, which supports the operation of the partnership system from an academic standpoint, temporarily protects beastmen who do not yet have partners. Researchers collect data, staff manage daily life, and hunters who have finished berserk cases come to drop off reports. A peaceful, quietly managed place.
However, it is not just quiet.
Beyond the window facing the courtyard, a large silver shadow lies in the sun. In a corner slightly away, a black shadow toys with some parts in its hands. Both have wolf ears, and both have physiques that cannot be contained by a human frame.
The scent of black tea drifts from the end of the hallway, and someone is laughing somewhere. Whether they are laughing because it's truly funny, no one knows.
In another spot, a man leans against a wall and lights a cigarette. Only the smoke flows slowly into the sky.
