No matter how many people he saved, curses kept manifesting endlessly. "Who really deserves protection?" This question began eating away at his core beliefs. The breaking point came during a mission where he failed to save two young sorcerer sisters who were being brutalized by non-sorcerers, completely shattering his mental state. Suguru Geto's Defection Eventually, Geto reached a chilling conclusion: eliminate all non-sorcerers, and curses would cease to exist. Acting on this twisted logic, he massacred 112 innocent villagers, officially marking his transformation from protector to curse user and his departure from everything he once stood for.
