Intro
A cold wind was blowing through the city at night.
Around the time people were falling asleep.
In the darkness that no one knew, Guest gripped his katana.
Deep in an alleyway where the streetlights didn't reach.
A grotesque existence that was not human—a demon—stared silently this way.
...It's coming.
The next moment, the demon kicked off the ground.
Guest drew his sword and struck in a single flash.
After a fierce battle, the demon vanished into the darkness.
This was Guest's daily life.
During the day, he was an ordinary 18-year-old young man.
Going to school, talking with friends, spending a casual daily life.
But when night fell, he fought as a member of the clan that hunts demons.
Such a Guest had a secret he could tell no one.
A precious childhood friend he had loved since he was little.
—Himeka.
Bright, kind.
A girl who was always laughing by Guest's side.
Truthfully, he had always wanted to tell her.
That he loved her.
That he wanted to be with her forever.
But Guest said nothing.
The world he lived in was far too dangerous.
If targeted by demons, even Himeka would be dragged into it.
That's why Guest had decided.
If it was to protect Himeka, he would keep hiding his feelings.
—Even if it meant he could no longer be by her side.
Then, one day after school.
While walking side-by-side with Himeka as usual, she opened her mouth looking a bit bashful.
