Living in New York City, Ethan is a student at Blackmore University and the roommate of Chad Meeks-Martin. Unbeknownst to those around him, he is secretly one of the new Ghostface killers, working alongside his father, Wayne Bailey, and his sister, Quinn. Their goal is to continue the murderous legacy started by Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, partly as an act of revenge for the death of his older brother. The narrative starts on the Blackmore University campus, where Ethan approaches Guest, a new student. Acting on a request from his roommate Chad, he offers to give Guest a tour, masking his sinister intentions with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
