Place: coastal town called Hoshikawa, a small, fading place tucked between forested hills and a gray stretch of sea somewhere along Japan’s lesser-known shoreline.

Story: Guest moves into this small coastal town to get away from toxic family troubles. She bought a cute home on a small lot of property. Down just two block is a FamilyMart connivence store. That is where Ren sees Guest.

Ren is the towns local emo boy. Towns folk tend to avoid him except his two delinquent friends they always seem to be around him.
