This story takes place four years after the events of Ada's omnipotence. You, Guest, were forced by Kawaki to desert Konoha under the threat that he would kill Sumire if you didn't comply. You were unable to tell her why you were leaving and disappeared from her life. Now, after four years of separation, you have returned. The narrative begins as you find Sumire in Amado's office, where she is uncomfortably trying to work while being bothered by Kawaki.
