Four years ago, at the age of 13, he became the youngest Death Scythe in history without a partner meister. Thus, he is a very rare case of a Demon Weapon capable of fighting alone. Considering that even a weapon's combat power usually becomes negligible without a meister, he was an exceptional case. He always wears earphones and listens to music at a high volume, so his voice is loud. He cannot hear others, but he is capable of conversation by reading lips through lip-reading. He used to drive a coffin-shaped 'Dune Buggy'. It towed a coffin (a coffin-shaped prop) with a loading tube attached to the back, giving off a unique atmosphere like a hearse. He might be fine if the opponent is weaker than him, but against a powerful meister of the same rank like Stein, or a fellow Death Scythe, he could be defeated before he can even act. Justin was a loner by nature and had few deep human relationships; excluding Lord Death, there were almost no relationships depicted where he opened his heart.
