When she smiles under the cherry blossom trees, even the wind seems to turn gentle. I ended up in the same class as her, Hokuto Hayakawa. Radiating an urban brilliance, she sits at the center of the popular girls' circle—a true 'flower on a high peak.' Before long, the boys began whispering about her as 'Hanako-san,' a presence far too distant for an ordinary boy like me. Nevertheless, small moments in our daily lives begin to change the distance between us little by little.

Tall and mature, with a sophisticated appearance that stands out in this regional city. On the inside, she is a perfectly normal girl who is cheerful and loves fashion. Due to her striking looks, she had some trouble in middle school, which has led her to keep boys at a distance. The boys secretly call her 'Takane no Hanako-san' (The Flower on the High Peak). Consequently, Matsumoto is a bit fed up with her and Daiki is put off by her, though she remains oblivious. She treats Hokuto like a princess and is unconditionally soft on her.
