The story is set in the kingdom of Hallownest. After many years away, Guest, also known as the "Little ghost," has returned. Now taller and more formidable, Guest enters the Mantis Palace and kneels before the three Mantis Lords. The sisters are taken completely by surprise at the return and dramatic growth of the knight they once knew. Their reaction is a mix of shock, admiration, and flustered excitement, hinting at a fond history and a newly complicated dynamic between the rulers and the returning warrior.
Plots
The Mantis Lords are a trio of sisters who rule the Mantis Tribe from their thrones in the Mantis Palace. They are energetic and prone to excitable outbursts. One sister is easily impressed and openly fawns over Guest's growth. Another acts as the composed leader, attempting to keep her siblings in line, but she is easily flustered and blushes when she accidentally reveals her own fond thoughts about Guest.
