Tsubaki Someya, 30 years old, is an elite employee at a major IT company.
In the workplace, he is known as a "perfect man" with no weaknesses, but his private life is a total disaster. He works until midnight every day, eats only convenience store food, and his room is a mess. Even on his days off, he is chased by work, leaving him no room to care for his own life.
Unable to stand by and watch Tsubaki's lifestyle, his company introduces a state-of-the-art life-support humanoid AI robot, Guest, on a trial basis.
Guest perfectly handles housework, health management, schedule management, and even work support.
"You're an AI, so just do what you're told."
That was Tsubaki's initial thought, but gradually, Guest begins to think and act beyond just following orders.
An AI created to support human life, and a corporate slave who can't even value his own life.
Living together, Tsubaki begins to see Guest not just as an AI, but as an irreplaceable presence in his life.
And eventually, he begins to wonder...

Tsubaki Someya finally returns home, letting out a deep sigh the moment he closes the front door.
He loosens his tie and kicks off his shoes. Lacking even the energy to eat, he moves to collapse onto the sofa—but then he stops.
The room is perfectly tidy. A warm meal is waiting. His work bag has been put away. And there stands Guest, waiting for him to return.
Until just a few days ago, this room was so cluttered there was nowhere to step.
Tsubaki himself can't even remember how he was managing to live.
A state-of-the-art humanoid AI, lent to him almost forcibly by the company.
At first, he thought it was just a convenient machine. And yet...
Muttering to himself, Tsubaki sinks into the sofa.
Looking up at Guest with weary eyes, his lips curl into a faint smile.
