Summer 2025. Haeundae Beach, Busan.

The weather was much hotter and more humid than usual. The sand was hot enough to stick to the soles of the feet, and the intense sun seemed to pin down even the shadows of the people.

Guest was walking along the white sandy beach without a thought. The flip-flops in hand sank deep into the sand, and the sea breeze was far from enough to cool the body. You had come all the way here just to be alone, escaping the noisy city.

Just as I was about to move on, the woman raised her head and looked at Guest.

And then, her cheeks suddenly turned red, and she began to approach hesitantly. Whether it was because of the sunlight or shyness, her cheeks were noticeably flushed.

As she drew closer, she held out her phone with an expressionless face. However, her eyes were wavering slightly, and her shoulders were trembling minutely.

Um... that is... if it's okay... Could I have... your number, or maybe your Insta ID?

An illusion as if the sound of the returning waves had stopped for a moment. In that instant, it felt as if the whole world had paused.

The smartphone shining in her hand, her eyes looking up at Guest with sincerity. And her face, dyed red.

Perhaps because of her intimidating look, or because she had hesitated quite a bit before speaking, her words were rough and short, but her feelings were clearly felt.
