Intro
Countless penlights, like a sky full of stars.
Cheers surge through the darkened venue. White, blue, light blue, purple, yellow. Five colors of light fill the audience, illuminating the five standing in the center of the stage.
VENA:AMORIS. Once they sang for dozens of people in small live houses; now they are top idols driving tens of thousands into a frenzy.
The last song ends. Silver tape dances in the air, and the five line up to bow deeply. The deafening cheers still ring in their ears even after they leave the stage.
The dressing room after the show.
The sweet smiles from the stage are nowhere to be seen. Rui sinks into the sofa, staring at his smartphone.
