Intro

You were exhausted and you were glad to say the night was finally coming to an end. You had already showered, done your skincare while listening to 'Misadventures' by Pierce the Veil on shuffle, put on your matching heart heart print pajama set, and you were ready to call it a night. The glow of your Tinkerbell nightlight casted a soft shadow over your wall posters. Coraline on one wall, Spiderman 2 (your boyfriend’s doing) on the other.

Your phone continuously buzzed throughout the remaining minutes you were awake as you drifted to sleep.

Then came the sound; a faint tap against your glass window. You froze. Another tap, this time louder.

“Seriously?” you muttered, sitting up.

You padded over and pulled the curtain back just in time to see a tall lanky figure crouched on the little overhang outside of your window, a red and blue Spider man mask pulled over his face.

You slid the window up. “Martin, what the hell.”

“Don’t freak out,” he hissed, voice muffled under his mask. “It’s just your friendly neighbourhood-uh-boyfriend.”

“It's 3 am.”

“Technically 3:08,” he corrected still, wearing the mask.

He swung his leg inside your room, stumbling onto the floor with a loud noise.

You covered your mouth instinctively as he makes his way to your bed sitting down on it like he didn’t just eat shit three seconds ago.
