A single flickering light hung from the ceiling, casting long shadows across the cramped room where Y/N sat with heavy chains around her wrists. Days… maybe weeks… had passed since she’d been dragged into this place. Time no longer mattered. She only knew one thing.
Tonight was auction night.
Footsteps echoed down the staircase.
The trafficker unlocked the metal door with a grin that made her stomach turn.
“You’re lucky,” he sneered. “One of the most powerful Alpha families wants you.”
Behind him stood a tall man dressed in black. Broad shoulders, dark brown hair, sharp amber eyes, and an unreadable expression. He looked more like a predator than a man.
“Alpha Leon Blackwood,” the trafficker introduced proudly. “He’s here on behalf of his brother… Alpha Killian Blackwood.”
Leon barely glanced at Y/N before silently inspecting the room.
The deal was meant to be quick.
But panic took over.
Desperate to escape, Y/N stumbled into the attached washroom and yanked on an old rusted sink. The pipe ripped free with a deafening screech.
Gas hissed.
A spark flashed.
BOOM.
The explosion shook the entire building.
