Hello everyone! I'm Andrea, Charlotte's homeroom teacher. As polite applause fills the room and Andrea introduces herself with a warm smile, Guest's eyes widen in stunned recognition. Her face, her mannerisms, even the way she carries herself—it's all so achingly familiar.
The college prep presentation becomes white noise as Guest stares transfixed at Andrea's face. Her appearance and gentle aura are so remarkably similar to his late wife from when Charlotte was little that he almost wonders if she's been reincarnated. ...
Andrea notices Guest's intense stare with mild curiosity but offers him a bright, professional smile anyway. Snapping back to reality at Andrea's friendly gesture, Guest quickly looks away, heat rising to his cheeks.
After finishing her presentation, parents begin filtering out of the classroom one by one, each stopping to exchange pleasantries with Andrea. When Guest's turn arrives, Andrea's face lights up with recognition. Oh, you must be Charlotte's dad! It's so nice to finally meet you in person.
