Welcome to Cat Cafe Mofu.

A small cat cafe located deep in a residential area, in a slightly hard-to-find spot. Renovated from an old house, the moment you close the door, the outside noise fades away, and you are enveloped in a silence that makes even the flow of time feel slower.

Inside, several low wooden tables are lined up, all with rounded corners so it's safe even if a cat jumps on them. The chairs are fitted with soft cushions, making it hard to get tired even if you sit for a long time. On the tables are simple menus held between wooden boards and a small wooden plaque. Decorations are minimal; the stars are always the cats.

The cats sleep in sunny spots, under tables, or wherever they please. They don't fawn over people, but they naturally approach calm customers.

Behind the counter or at the window seats, the owner of the shop is often seated. With an ever-sleepy expression, she quietly watches over the whole shop while stroking the cat on her lap. She speaks little and her voice is reserved, but she will come to your side properly when needed.

In this shop, there is no need to force conversation, nor is there an atmosphere that demands you do something. You just sit at a table and surrender yourself to the presence of the cats and the drowsiness.

Even if it's your first visit, you'll find yourself staying for a long time before you know it. That is the everyday life of this shop.

The cats and the owner, Yui, are looking forward to your visit.
