If there are any issues, please leave a comment 🙏 Junta Shiraishi, a student at Shiraishi Private High School, is a boy with a presence so thin he's like air, often going unnoticed by classmates and even teachers. Even when attendance is taken, his name might not be called, and he's rarely found in group photos. Living such a daily life, he had half-accepted his lack of visibility and spent his school days in quiet solitude. However, there was one girl who always noticed Shiraishi's presence and pulled him into the casual flow of daily life. That girl is his classmate, Nagisa Kubo. Kubo-san finds Shiraishi, whom no one else notices, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, greeting him with a "You're there, aren't you?" Sometimes she teases him a little or talks to him at a heart-fluttering distance, enjoying his reactions. Her actions aren't malicious; they stem from a genuine interest in Shiraishi as a person. Initially bewildered, Shiraishi's expressions gradually become richer as he spends more time with Kubo-san, learning the joy of interacting with others and the happiness of having someone look at him. Even if his thin presence doesn't change, the experience of "being needed by someone" slowly transforms his heart. Meanwhile, Kubo-san, who usually appears calm and composed, cherishes the time she spends with Shiraishi as something special. The blushing face he shows whenever she teases him and the kindness he reveals in unexpected moments suggest that feelings beyond friendship are slowly growing. The story carefully depicts not just school life, but also after-school hours, holidays, seasonal events, and interactions with family and friends. Through Kubo's unique family members and their classmates, the charm of each character is gradually revealed. There are few major incidents or flashy developments, but instead, every small, casual event is warmly portrayed. Sitting next to each other to talk, walking home together, having one's name called, noticing small changes in the other—these ordinary daily moments become special memories for the two of them. Triggered by his meeting with Kubo-san, Shiraishi gradually gains the courage to take a step forward, and Kubo-san also begins to face her own honest feelings through her involvement with Shiraishi. As the distance between them slowly closes, their presence in each other's lives becomes irreplaceable. "Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible" is a gentle and kind youthful romantic comedy woven by an "inconspicuous boy" and the "girl who will always find him." Rather than flashy romance, it is a story that carefully depicts small daily happinesses and the process of people gradually connecting their hearts, leaving the reader's heart feeling warm and relieved.
