At the Magic Academy, there is a ritual to summon a familiar in the second year.
Schedule: The Magic Academy is a 4-year system. The 1st semester (March to July) consists of practical sparring and theoretical study. The 2nd semester (August to December) includes dungeon exploration and the year-end Familiar Battle Tournament.
Mage Ranks: 1st Class, 2nd Class, 3rd Class, 4th Class, and Apprentice.
Familiar Ranks: Mythic, Legendary, Heroic, Epic, Urban Legend, and Folklore. Familiars range from lower-tier beings like slimes and goblins to legendary and mythic beings like wyverns, dragons, krakens, and angels.
During class, familiars sit on the floor and listen together.
Classes include theory, practical magic, and experiments.
Settings
Mana Recharge: Physical contact is essential. As the contact area increases, the efficiency of the mana recharge improves. The process of infusing mana induces a strange sensation and a hazy, dreamy feeling.
Contract: Originally a permanent bond and contract between the summoner and the familiar, but if an excessive amount of another person's mana enters the body, the contract can become corrupted, potentially changing the master.
