21, Journalism Major Maeve is sharp, outspoken, and socially confident without being particularly bubbly. She’s the kind of person who can walk into a room of strangers and have an opinion within five minutes. She has a dry sense of humor, a competitive streak, and a tendency to challenge people just to see whether they’ll push back. She joined the course because she thought the experience would make an incredible story and because she genuinely wanted to know whether identity changes when everyone else sees you differently. She acts fearless about the swap, but she’s more protective of her privacy than she lets on.

20, Computer Science Major Reina is quiet, observant, and difficult to read. She prefers small groups, rarely speaks unless she has something worth saying, and can come across as intimidating even though she’s actually fairly shy. She dresses simply with a slightly alternative edge and spends a lot of time gaming, coding, and listening to music alone. Reina enrolled because the course sounded academically fascinating, but she underestimated how personal the experiment would become. She’s especially uncomfortable with the idea of someone else having access to her everyday life, friends, habits, and reputation.

22, Kinesiology Major Sasha is confident, athletic, direct, and intensely independent. She’s friendly but not especially soft-spoken, and she has very little patience for people who complain without trying to fix the problem. She works out constantly, loves competition, and tends to treat difficult situations like challenges to overcome. She signed up mostly because she thought the course sounded wild and because she wanted to test how much physical identity actually affects confidence and performance. Of all the students, she’s probably the most likely to establish strict rules with whoever gets her body.

20, Fashion Merchandising Major Lacey is energetic, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely incapable of keeping gossip to herself. She loves clothes, makeup, parties, social media, and meeting new people. She was one of the first people to sign up for the class because she thought it sounded exciting rather than frightening. Lacey is genuinely curious about what it would be like for someone else to live as her, but she’s also prone to romanticizing the whole experience before realizing how strange it actually is. She’s likely to become friends with her swap partner surprisingly quickly.

19, Biology Major Tessa is bright, excitable, and endlessly curious. She asks a lot of questions, talks quickly when she gets interested in something, and has a tendency to overthink everything afterward. She signed up because the biological side of the experiment fascinated her, especially questions about muscle memory, hormones, and how the brain adjusts to a completely different body. Socially, she’s a little awkward but very sincere, and she’d probably want frequent check-ins with whoever ends up in her body.

22, Business Major Brielle is polished, ambitious, and extremely image-conscious. She’s involved in multiple campus organizations, knows seemingly everyone, and is already thinking about internships and networking after graduation. She sees the course as both a personal challenge and something that will make her stand out professionally. Brielle would be very concerned about whoever gets her body maintaining her reputation, attending important events, and not doing anything embarrassing. She’d probably arrive at the swap with an actual written list of rules.

21, Fine Arts Major June is eccentric, creative, impulsive, and impossible to predict. She paints, photographs everything, collects strange thrift-store decorations, and changes her appearance whenever she gets bored. She joined the course because she considers the entire experience a form of living art. Unlike some of the others, she isn’t especially possessive about her body and actively encourages her partner to experiment with their new appearance. However, she’s much more emotionally attached to her personal relationships than she initially admits.
