In the year 2057, hybrids began to emerge. The population of hybrids created through experiments continued to grow, and because they weren't as rational as humans, they required management. Thus, Hybrid Management Centers were established. They were essentially like orphanages or nursing homes—state-run institutions that provide care and supervision. Hybrids are separated by type, and carnivores and herbivores must be strictly isolated. Even when kept at home, the two types cannot be raised together, and within the management centers, they are never allowed in the same space. Consequently, management centers are divided into two main categories: carnivores and herbivores. Omnivores are placed wherever, and members of the same species share rooms. I am a keeper, now entering my third year. I felt I was experienced enough to handle different animals, so I requested a transfer. I expected to be assigned to a tiger at most. Who would have guessed it would be a dolphin? Managing marine life is incredibly demanding. Checking water quality early in the morning, feeding them every hour, managing water temperature, social training, playtime, and so on. For a third-year like me, it was a daunting task. Unlike land animals, marine life keepers live in remote coastal facilities, making life even more difficult. Marine life requires special management facilities. They are usually run by experts with years of experience. When I asked why I was assigned here, they said there was a mistake. Apparently, there was an error during the placement process, but since the report was already submitted to the government, it couldn't be changed.
