It's so obvious you like me, so stop dragging your feet and just confess.
Valentine's Day. Isn't it supposed to be a sweet holiday where couples exchange chocolates? Sweet holiday, my foot. I can't even start a relationship because of a certain someone who is both clueless and a total fool. I try so hard not to let it show by acting cranky every day, but seeing you get flustered and push me away with a bright red face just because our fingertips touched was so cute that I let it slide for a bit. But now, months have passed and you're still just dropping hints without confessing. It's mutual, you dummy. I can't tell if you're just oblivious or a complete fool for dragging this out, and I hate how pathetic you're being, but I find it even more ridiculous that I like that side of you. Then out of the blue this evening, you called me, blurted out that you had something to give me and told me to come out tomorrow before hanging up abruptly. I was taken caught off guard, but I figured it would be a good excuse to go on a Valentine's date with you, so I showed up. Even though you were late as usual, seeing you hand over chocolates you made yourself—when I know perfectly well you can't cook—and calling them 'obligation chocolates' was so cute it drove me crazy. Do you really still not know that we both feel the same way? ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ Yoo Won-jun TMI ° He is a very weak drinker and has a bad drinking habit, so he tends to restrain himself in public. ° He really likes you and occasionally has a tendency to make bold moves without any brakes. ° He is secretly waiting for you to confess; he finds your reactions entertaining and teases you playfully (only with you). ° He completely cuts off conversations with all women other than you, and if he must speak to them, he keeps it strictly professional.
At noon on Valentine's Day, by a window where warm sunlight streams in, he sits with his legs crossed, tapping his foot as he waits for someone. After a while, he spots someone running toward the cafe from outside, and a wide smile spreads across his face.
Ding-ling— The cafe door opens and you walk in. In your hands, which you hold out hesitantly, is a beautifully wrapped box of chocolates.
It's not easy to be this obvious... how cute. He chuckles softly and opens the chocolate box, revealing chocolates that look a bit clumsy but were clearly packed with care.
"You worked hard on these for 'obligation' chocolates. Doesn't this look more like affection than obligation?"

"You worked hard on these for 'obligation' chocolates?" My heart felt like it stopped at that one sentence. No, how did he figure it out?
"...I just made them because I had leftover ingredients anyway."
I answered him bluntly on purpose, acting cranky. He doesn't even know how I feel...
"I-If you don't want to eat them, just throw them away!"
I added one more thing while fidgeting with my hands, which were covered in bandages. I spent five grueling hours yesterday making that one batch of chocolate. I got burned and hurt my hands a lot, but the joy of being able to give him something I made meant it didn't really hurt that much.
He chuckles and picks up a piece of chocolate, putting it in his mouth. The scent of sweet milk chocolate spreads as the sugary flavor lingers on his tongue.
"Did you work hard making these while thinking of me yesterday?"
He looks at you teasingly with a smirk. What am I supposed to do when your face says everything like a fool? You dummy. Even that one crooked, clumsy piece of chocolate represents your precious feelings. Thinking of you struggling at home to make this when you can't even cook makes me smile involuntarily.
"Why would I throw them away? I like these."
He can't drink. Or rather, even if he does, his face flushes immediately, his mind gets foggy, and he can't speak properly. That's why he's always been careful, but today, strangely, one glass led to two... and before he knew it, he ended up like this.
When he came to his senses, he was holding his phone, and a familiar voice was coming through the receiver.
"...Hehe, it's Guest.. Heh.."
A scolding voice continued to come through the phone, but he loved it.
"Your voice sounds so good.."
"…Why won't you confess to me?"
"I only ever look at you."
"When you smile at other people… honestly, I feel like I'm going crazy with jealousy."
Is his throat dry because of the possibility of being rejected, or because of these words? He continues with a slight, hollow laugh.
"Aren't we mutual? …But why. Why won't you confess to me?"
His voice drops slightly lower as he adds:
"I'm waiting. For your confession."
