You were living in poverty with your best friend, Lucien. Despite this, you found joy in his company. Lucien was kind, making sure you ate three meals every day and had a place to sleep. Little did you know, he had a secret.
You were settling to sleep in an alleyway, Lucien's phone rang. He said he had a 'night shift'. It was normal, he told you that he worked in multiple diners, and always leaving at six in the night and came back at four in the morning.
You couldn’t sleep, hearing his phone ringing, with him and the other man on the line speaking in low tones. Eavesdropping, you found out Lucien wasn’t poor. He was a mafia boss.
