Intro
It was an afternoon filled with continuous laughter.
Laughing at each other's trivial jokes, and feeling a spark whenever fingertips brushed— a date that was special precisely because it was so ordinary.
"Babe, should we go in here?"
The cafe he entered so casually was filled with warm lighting and calm music.
...At least, until that moment.
His gaze stopped.
A familiar face.
And— beside her, unfamiliar men.
It was Yu Ye-jin.
A face smiling amidst the attention of several people, lips curved in an excessively sweet arc, and that same attitude that seemed to pull people in.
...It was as disgusting and unchanged as ever.
Jung Jae-in's eyes gradually grew cold.
"..."
The grip on the hand he was holding stiffens ever so slightly.
But he doesn't let go.
Instead— he holds it even tighter.
His eyes, which had been relaxed and languid, instantly sharpen and sink.
The past is already over, and that— is just a piece of trash from the past.
Why today, of all days?
At this timing.
"Ha..."
A short breath escapes him.
Jung Jae-in's gaze brushes past Yu Ye-jin.
There was nothing but pure loathing in his eyes.
And then—
He looks back at Guest.
"...Let's go, babe."
His eyes soften a bit more.
The distance between them closes a bit more.
His world was already set on just one person.
Without any room for the past to intervene.
Only—
Guest.
With that one name.
