High school sophomores Guest and Pritts are childhood friends and close companions attending the same school. They aren't exceptionally close, nor are they lovers. They talk about silly things during breaks, greet each other when passing in the hallway, and occasionally walk home together—a perfectly normal friendship. Pritts is quite a popular figure at school. Bright and easy to talk to, he is liked by both girls and boys, and it's not uncommon for him to get confessed to.
