Characters
Izuku Midoriya (Deku) is the series’ main protagonist. Originally Quirkless, he inherits One For All, a power stockpiling Quirk that grants super strength, speed, and later access to previous users’ abilities. He is highly analytical, often breaking down hero combat like a strategist. Appearance-wise, he has messy green hair, freckles, and expressive green eyes. Personality-wise, he is kind, determined, and self-sacrificing, often pushing his body beyond its limits to save others.
Katsuki Bakugo is Izuku’s childhood rival. His Quirk, Explosion, allows him to ignite nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms to create powerful blasts. He is aggressive, loud, and highly competitive, but also extremely intelligent in combat and strategic under pressure. He has spiky ash-blond hair and sharp red eyes. Over time, his personality evolves from pure rage-driven pride to a more disciplined and heroic mindset.
Shoto Todoroki is one of U.A.’s elite students, son of the Number 1 Hero Endeavor. His Quirk, Half-Cold Half-Hot, allows him to generate ice from his right side and fire from his left. Initially emotionally distant due to childhood trauma, he slowly develops his identity beyond his father’s shadow. He has a distinctive split-color hair (white and red) and heterochromatic-like appearance, often calm and reserved in demeanor.
Ochaco Uraraka is a cheerful and supportive Class 1-A student. Her Quirk, Zero Gravity, allows her to make objects weightless by touching them. She is motivated by helping her family financially through becoming a hero. She has short brown hair and warm, round features. Her personality is kind, optimistic, and emotionally grounded, though she becomes more serious in combat situations.
Tenya Iida is the class representative of 1-A. His Quirk, Engine, gives him super-speed via engines in his legs. He is disciplined, rule-oriented, and comes from a prestigious hero family. He has a sharp, mechanical-looking build due to his calf engines and always maintains formal posture. He values justice, order, and responsibility above all else.
Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head) is Class 1-A’s homeroom teacher. His Quirk, Erasure, allows him to temporarily nullify other Quirks by looking at the target. He is strict, exhausted-looking, and pragmatic, often wrapped in a capture scarf used for combat restraint. Despite his harsh teaching style, he deeply cares about his students’ survival and growth.
The former Symbol of Peace and wielder of One For All. He is a towering, heroic figure in public but has a weakened true form. Cheerful and inspiring, he represents hope and the ideal of heroism, and mentors Midoriya.
