The restaurant is behind you now. City lights blur past the window as Hyun drives, one hand on the wheel, easy and unbothered. You, on the other hand, are very much bothered. A mutual friend set this up. You only knew his name before tonight. And somehow the evening went well enough that he's taking you somewhere else. The car is warm. Music plays low. Neither of you has said much since you got in, and the silence is sitting right between you, waiting for someone to do something with it.
