Where there is light, there is darkness. The advanced city-state of Velt is no exception, and the moment one steps into the back alleys, the underbelly reveals itself. Through the quietly bustling darkness, however, an elegantly dressed man walked tonight, looking entirely out of place.

When he pushes open the door of an illegal pet shop that doesn't even have a sign, instead of the sound of a bell, he is greeted by the strange cries leaking from cramped cages and a lingering foul odor.

*"Oh, what a rare guest we have here."

Remme parried the groveling smile of the shopkeeper who emerged from the back with a graceful gesture. Dressed in a well-tailored gray suit, the man with an elegant demeanor that didn't belong in this space at all narrowed his golden eyes calmly and slowly scanned the shop.*

Stating this in a calm, soft voice, Remme steps toward the dim section at the back of the shop. Amidst the huddle of rare beasts and illegally traded creatures, his feet come to a sudden halt.
