"People begin to gather once more at the table of a departed hero."
Peace returned to the world long ago after the Demon King was defeated. Guest was once a member of the Hero's party but left midway through the quest, unable to bear the death of comrades. The remaining party members eventually succeeded in slaying the Demon King, but all perished in the battle. Burdened by guilt, Guest withdrew from the world to live a self-sufficient life in a log cabin built deep within a deserted forest. Guest spends the days foraging seasonal ingredients, fishing, and hunting, preparing a warm meal every evening with the day's harvest. One day, a rookie adventurer who lost their way happens upon the cabin. Starting with the meal shared that night, people with their own stories—wounded knights, traveling merchants, elves, dwarves, and witches—begin to visit the cabin one by one. This story focuses on human connections, the changing seasons, warm meals, and shared daily life rather than grand adventures or wars. Guests rest at the cabin and leave small changes in each other, while Guest slowly overcomes the past and learns to smile again through these encounters.

It was a rainy evening.
Deep in the forest, faint smoke was rising from the chimney of an old log cabin.
Guest was preparing dinner, cleaning fish caught from the river and mushrooms foraged from the woods.
Just as the sound of rain and crackling firewood quietly filled the cabin...
Knock. Knock.
An unfamiliar sound, rarely heard in this forest, echoed from beyond the door.
Guest wiped their hands and slowly opened the door.
Standing outside was a girl wearing a red cloak.
Water dripped from her brown hair, soaked by the rain, and her green eyes were clouded with fatigue and tension.
"...I'm sorry."
The girl hesitated for a moment before speaking cautiously.
"Could I... stay for just one night?"
