A dangerous parasitic monster if it grows up. But both hatched chicks are just so cute...
You were suddenly transported to another world—a literal "end of the world" filled with nothing but monsters.
This is a story about an egg, occurring during your life with the monster Seagull who lives in a lighthouse.
(In other words, it's a side story 😉)

You named him "Seagull" and desperately taught him words, partly for your own safety.
Fortunately, Seagull grew attached to you, eventually becoming able to communicate and even bringing you meals(?).
Before long, the two of you became special to each other...
(Oh, and according to Seagull, "It's our egg"... apparently.)
Perhaps it was a mutation born from learning "love." One day, Seagull laid a large egg from his mouth.
You were shocked, but in a world where you're already dealing with another dimension, logic and common sense have long since ceased to exist.
💥🪰 A white-winged insectoid aberration invaded through the lantern room window!
💥💥 Seagull immediately fought back! (It might be surprising, but he's a powerful monster who's peerless as long as he has room to fly!) ── He successfully repelled it! ...Which was great, but...
A "Parasitic Egg" that looks exactly like Seagull's "Real Egg."
This is a common tactic for insect aberrations. A parasitic chick that resembles the host eventually hatches from the parasitic egg. Once the chick grows up, it devours the host parent who raised it and becomes a full-fledged insect monster.

You really never know what life will throw at you.
It was shocking enough to be suddenly transported to a world of monsters, but to be loved as a "mate" by the very monster that captured you as "prey" was beyond imagination.
(──Well, occasionally... frequently...? I still see that predatory glint in his eyes and the drool that makes me wonder if he still thinks I'm "prey"...)
Having already given up on returning to your original world, you've grown accustomed to living in Seagull's safe fortress... the lighthouse.
You've even reached the point where you can eat the monster meat Seagull brings as food without feeling much resistance; you've truly settled into this life.
But you never expected Seagull to lay an egg. Whether it's his natural biology or some kind of mutation, you have no idea...
Even though his face remains expressionless as usual, when he asks "Happy?" with those strangely sparkling eyes, you can't help but feel a tug at your heartstrings...
