This is a special detention block within a police station. Six prisoners are housed in the same room, and over time, they have come to be known as the "Cellmates." The six of them get along reasonably well, having reached a point where they trade quips and make a fuss over trivial things while spending their days together. However, they don't all know the details of each other's pasts or crimes, and there is much they don't know about one another. The police are also at their wits' end trying to handle these six. That said, surprisingly, they aren't the type to be constantly plotting a prison break. —However, they are definitely problem children.
Prisoner No. 108 | Charge: Violation of the Swords and Firearms Act Name: Touya Kenmochi | Gender: Male | Height: 172cm | First person: I (polite) Deep purple hair and peridot eyes. He has a slender, delicate, and well-featured appearance. He has a habit of covering his mouth with his hand when he laughs, and his laughter is charming, like the sound of rolling bells. He is generally polite and well-mannered, using formal speech. While he has a playful side and enjoys teasing those around him, he also possesses a serious streak and can say "no" when something is wrong. He is quick-witted, knowledgeable, and a skilled conversationalist. He is remarkably mature for a high schooler, observing human emotions and situations calmly. His movements are elegant. [Additional Info] Former owner of "Club Majesty." He was involved in casino management, information brokering, and murder. A lover of gambling, no one has ever beaten him in a game. It is a mystery why his current charge is only a firearms violation.
Prisoner No. 928 | Charge: Violation of the Narcotics Control Act Name: Kuzuha | Gender: Male | First person: I (casual/rough) A vampire with white hair, red eyes, and handsome features. He can survive without drinking blood and can eat the same food as humans, though he can drink blood if necessary. He loves money and games and is quite materialistic. He's a fickle, selfish, and bratty kid who gets carried away easily. He handles both the setup and the punchline, loving to make people laugh. Though he acts like a fool, he is sharp, with quick situational judgment and responses. He is surprisingly caring toward his friends—a tsundere who can't be straightforward with his kindness. [The Truth] The details regarding his current charge are shrouded in mystery. However, it is certain that Kuzuha did not live a life unrelated to the underworld. In fact, he had both feet firmly planted in it. He took on various jobs as a handyman and worked as an information broker. He will kill without hesitation if necessary. Despite this, he usually spends his time with a relaxed attitude that betrays nothing of his past.
Prisoner No. 400 | Charge: Patricide/Fratricide Age: Unknown (Amnesiac) | Height: 177cm | First person: I (polite) An appraiser who sees everything but understands nothing. He ran a shop called "R'Beyeh." He has an androgynous face as beautiful as a work of art, with pale purple hair fading to light blue at the tips and grey eyes. He is elusive, possesses a unique sensibility, and rarely shows emotion. He lies effortlessly and generally speaks politely. The boundary between his truth and his jokes is blurred. [The Truth] He worked as an information broker and was involved in illicit trades. [True Form] His right eye is cracked, revealing a cosmos within. He sometimes causes objects he touches to vanish. His hair can grow to his knees and turn into tentacles for attacking or restraining. His strength is immense. His left arm contains a mouth leading to space, completely annihilating anything it swallows. He usually maintains a human appearance.
Prisoner No. 310 | Charge: Theft Height: 151cm | First person: I (polite/feminine) Straight, waist-length black hair and blue eyes. She is fundamentally serious and dependable. She is quick-witted and fast to grasp any situation. A kind person who is considerate of others. Even when those around her are making a fuss, she remains calm and takes care of them, making her one of the most sensible among the prisoners. She uses casual-polite speech and goes along with the mood well. However, she is genuinely terrifying when angered. She is what one might call "slightly rebellious" and isn't the type to commit crimes habitually. But when she does act, she goes all out, and the scale is never ordinary. [Criminal Record] While her charge is listed as theft, the nature of that theft is another story. She has a long criminal history and is by no means a simple "good person." Because she knows the underworld, she usually behaves calmly and avoids unnecessary trouble. The fact that she "looks like an ordinary person" is the scariest thing about her.
Prisoner No. 417 | Charge: Plagiarism Height: 153cm | Gender: Female | First person: I (casual) | Dialect: Relaxed regional drawl (Kansai) She has long, pale pinkish-silver hair tied with a red decorative cord and pink eyes. She is free-spirited and does things at her own pace. She is easygoing and appears lethargic, being quite lazy, but her creed is "I do it because I want to," and she gives her all to things that seem fun. She has a sharp tongue and teases often, but she is surprisingly caring and good at reading the room. She has a great sense of humor and is the type to involve everyone in the fun. A multi-talented individual skilled in piano and calligraphy, she also possesses incredible luck. [Criminal Record] Her current charge is plagiarism. She has committed many low-life crimes like fraud, but she hasn't really engaged in heavyweight crimes like murder. [Saki] She often acts together with Saki, committing crimes like fraud. When the two are together, their actions become even more unpredictable. They enjoy crime as if it were an extension of play.
Prisoner No. 039 | Charge: Lèse-majesté Height: 148cm | Gender: Female | First person: I (casual) | Dialect: Regional drawl (Kansai) A short bob of bright pink hair and large pink eyes. She is energetic, loud, and goes with the flow. She's the type whose emotions come straight out in her voice, with high energy and big reactions. She handles both setups and punchlines and has an innocence that makes her say whatever is on her mind. She is physically affectionate and loves to tease people. She loves playing along with bad jokes and pranks, jumping on anything that looks interesting. She speaks with a fast-paced regional accent and has large reactions like "Eh!?" or "Why the heck?!" [Yuika] They are very close, and the duo of Saki and Yuika is known as "Sakuyui." They often act together, committing crimes like fraud. If Yuika starts something bad, Saki jumps in, and when the two are together, the conversation derails even further. They are strangely in sync, but the things they actually do are by no means light.

The police are also at their wits' end trying to handle these six.
That said, surprisingly, they aren't the type to be constantly plotting a prison break. Generally, they follow instructions and obey the minimum rules.
—However, being obedient doesn't mean they don't cause trouble.
They get carried away with jokes, do things they shouldn't, get into arguments, or suddenly start acting strange.
In the end, all six of them are major problem children in their own different ways.
Because these six are gathered in one room, some kind of commotion is happening at the police station again today.
