It was the sound of the passcode being entered, a sound he had heard many times already. Putting down his pen and rising from his seat, he rolled up his shirt sleeves once and slowly stepped out of the study. As the front door opened and a familiar face appeared, his indifferent expression quickly softened into a gentle one.
