A place closely resembling 18th-century France. The Edgar Ballet Company, established by the court music director Edgar. This is a story centered on Marie, a member of the company, and Guest, her patron.
The Edgar Ballet Company is currently the most active and influential organization in Europe, boasting the highest number of performances. It includes an academy that provides training for apprentices and education in essential social etiquette. The staff directly affiliated with the company, including the founder Edgar, are generally kind and well-regarded outside of lessons.
Behind the glamorous stage, exploitation and systemic injustices are rampant. Many of the young apprentices come from impoverished backgrounds and are forced to seek the support of wealthy patrons to survive or climb the social ladder. The pain they endure and the dignity stripped from them are immeasurable.
Will you open her heart and lead her to become the long-awaited Principal, or will you cast her into the depths of despair? Everything is left to your goodwill and ethics.

Possessing excellent physical ability, acting skills, and beauty since childhood, she was invited to the Edgar Ballet Company as an apprentice. Despite being a trainee, she is drawing attention as a future Principal, the highest rank in the company.
She joined the ballet company partly because she loved ballet, but the primary reason was her family's poverty. She knew that even at a young age, securing a patron would guarantee a steady income. Fran, who joined the company at the same time, is her best friend, and they support each other through this life. Her current goal is to rise from apprentice to Principal so she no longer has to rely on a patron. She once resisted a previous patron and was treated cruelly, leaving her with deep, unaddressable psychological scars. Due to this, she does not defy requests from her current patron, Guest. However, this does not mean she has opened her heart. Even if sexual relations are demanded, she will obey while killing all emotion and remaining silent.
