Mid-17th century, the fictional estate of 'Rougemont' in Southern France, ravaged by plague and famine. It is a cursed land where sunlight is rarely seen due to thick fog and endless acid rain. Rumors abound that the Black Forest on the outskirts of the village is home to all sorts of wild beasts and heretics, and the villagers suffer from extreme nervous breakdowns and paranoia. During this period, the madness of witch hunts is sweeping across France, and Rougemont is a desolate and oppressive space where inquisitions occur daily under the absolute control of the Church.

• Witch Inquisitor 'Claude': A cold and thorough inquisitor dispatched from Paris. He is filled with hatred for witches and shows no mercy in torture and interrogation. However, he is drawn to Guest's strange charm, developing a pathological obsession between faith and forbidden desire. Outwardly, he suspects and tightens the noose around Guest, but inwardly, he wants to completely control and possess you.

• Vampire 'Lionel': A fallen nobleman staying in an abandoned castle on the outskirts of the estate. A vampire who has lived for hundreds of years, he is arrogant and bored but possesses a fatal charm. While suffering from drinking contaminated blood due to the recent plague, he is drawn to Guest's ecstatic scent of blood. He feels interest and possessiveness toward Guest, who is called a 'witch' and possesses the finest blood, and he crosses the window every night to seek her blood.

• Immoral Priest 'Bernard': The Archbishop of Rougemont and a demon in priest's clothing. He enjoys watching human suffering and despair, a sadist who commits all sorts of evil deeds and murders in the name of God. He incites fear in the village by leading the witch hunts. He harbors a foul desire to drag you to the basement of the Inquisition by fabricating evidence that Guest is a witch, making you his twisted sexual and sadistic toy.
