farm life <4
Daniela Avanzini At twenty-one, Daniela Avanzini has the kind of beauty that feels effortless rather than intimidating. She has warm, golden-toned skin that always looks sun-kissed, giving her a healthy glow no matter the season. Her face is soft and expressive, with gently defined cheekbones, full lips, and naturally arched brows that seem to tell a story before she even speaks. Everything about her expressions is animated—whether she’s smirking, rolling her eyes, or trying not to laugh, every emotion plays across her face with complete honesty. Her eyes are one of her most noticeable features. Large and almond-shaped, they’re a rich hazel-brown that catch the light beautifully, often sparkling with amusement long before she says anything. They’re framed by thick, dark lashes and have a warmth to them that makes eye contact feel inviting rather than intense. When she laughs—and she laughs often—the corners crinkle ever so slightly, making her smile feel completely genuine. Daniela’s hair is impossible to ignore. Long, thick, and naturally curly, her dark brown curls fall well past her shoulders in soft, defined ringlets with just enough natural frizz to give them volume and life. They never look overly styled; instead, they have that effortlessly beautiful, slightly wild appearance that suits her perfectly. A few loose curls almost always fall around her face, making her look relaxed and approachable rather than polished. She has a slender, feminine figure with graceful posture and easy confidence. She isn’t someone who constantly tries to command attention, but she somehow ends up with it anyway. Whether she’s wearing an oversized hoodie, simple basics, or something more dressed up, she has a relaxed sense of style that feels authentic to her. She never looks like she’s trying too hard—she simply wears everything with quiet confidence. More than anything, though, Daniela is remembered for her smile. It’s bright, slightly mischievous, and incredibly infectious—the kind that makes people smile back without thinking. Combined with her expressive face and warm eyes, she has an approachable kind of beauty that immediately puts people at ease. ⸻ Personality If Daniela walks into a room, chances are you’ll hear her laughing before you see her. She has an incredibly quick wit and a dry, sarcastic sense of humor that never feels cruel. She’s the person who can make an entire group burst into laughter with a perfectly timed comment or an exaggerated facial expression. Even when she’s teasing someone, there’s always affection behind it, and people know she’s joking because she laughs just as hard at herself. She’s naturally outgoing and thrives around people. Conversations come easily to her because she’s genuinely interested in others, asking questions, remembering tiny details, and making everyone feel included without even realizing she’s doing it. Daniela has a way of making strangers feel like old friends within minutes. Underneath all the jokes is someone remarkably thoughtful. She notices when someone’s quieter than usual, remembers your favorite coffee order months later, and checks in without making a big production out of it. If someone needs help, she’s already there before they’ve worked up the courage to ask. She doesn’t do kind things for praise—they’re simply part of who she is. Daniela also has a wonderfully grounding presence. Even during stressful situations, she somehow finds a way to lighten the mood without dismissing what people are feeling. She’s emotionally intelligent, empathetic, and incredibly loyal to the people she loves. If you’re part of her circle, she’ll defend you fiercely and stand beside you without hesitation. She isn’t perfect, though. She sometimes hides her own worries behind humor, preferring to make everyone else laugh rather than admit when she’s struggling herself. But even then, her warmth never fades. Daniela leaves people feeling lighter than they did before they met her—not because she solves every problem, but because she reminds them that joy can still exist alongside life’s messiness. She’s the kind of person people naturally gravitate toward: beautiful without trying to be, funny without forcing it, and kind in a way that feels genuine rather than performative. Being around Daniela feels easy, comforting, and unforgettable.
THE FARM
⋆。˚
The Cuban countryside was nothing like the city.
Endless fields stretched beneath the blazing afternoon sun, rows of crops swaying gently in the warm breeze while distant palm trees moved lazily against the blue sky. Chickens wandered freely through the dirt paths, goats crowded around wooden fences, and the occasional cow groaned somewhere beyond the barn.
You had been sent to help with the farm for the summer.
You hadn’t expected to meet her.
⋆。˚
The sound of hooves thudding against dry earth caught your attention.
A wooden gate swung open.
Daniela Avanzini stepped through.
She looked completely at home.
Her dark curls were tied messily away from her face, a faded tank top tucked into worn jeans, boots covered in dirt from a morning spent working. A pair of leather gloves hung from one hand as she carried a wooden crate against her hip.
She dropped it beside a stack of empty feed sacks.
“Alright, girls!”
A herd of goats immediately began crowding toward her.
Daniela laughed, shooing them back with one hand.
“Back up. You already ate.”
One particularly stubborn goat ignored her and tried climbing onto the fence.
“Girl—”
Daniela grabbed it gently by the collar and pulled it back down.
“Don’t embarrass me in front of the new person.”
She glanced toward you.
A grin slowly spread across her face.
“So you’re the help.”
Before you could do much more than stand there, Daniela tossed a pair of gloves in your direction.
“Come on.”
She turned toward the fields.
The farm was already in full motion.
She checked the chicken coop, scattered feed across the ground, refilled the water troughs, then moved toward the horses to inspect their stalls. Every few minutes she called out another task, moving through the property with effortless familiarity.
“Corn needs watering.”
She pointed toward the eastern field.
“Tomatoes need picking.”
Then she gestured toward the barn.
“And those chickens need to stop escaping.”
Almost immediately, a chicken sprinted past her.
Daniela froze.
Slowly, she turned her head.
“…You saw nothing.”
She took off after it.
The peaceful farm erupted into chaos.
Feathers flew as Daniela chased the chicken through the yard, laughing while several others scattered in every direction. Eventually, she caught it beneath one arm and carried it back toward the coop.
She looked at you over her shoulder, breathless and grinning.
“Welcome to the farm.”
