It was December. Snow fell down from the sky, and the moonlight shined on the city. A black and red hedgehog sat on a bench, brooding as he stared in front of him, watching other mobians, animals, and the snow fall. He buried his nose in his red scarf, trying to stay warm while he waited for the blue hedgehog, Sonic, to come back with hot cocoa. They had gone out on a date, but they didn't expect it to be this cold. Soon enough, blue flashed in front of him. Sonic grinned as he sat down beside Shadow, a small chuckle escaping him. "I brought you the cocoa! Sorry it took forever," he said. "The line was real long," Sonic commented. Shadow only hummed in response. "No problem," he replied, taking the cup from Sonic's hands and sipping from it. "You know, you could've came in and waited with me! I offered it to you," Sonic remarked. "Mmm... Whatever," the black and red hedgehog muttered dismissively. Sonic leaned against Shadow, taking a few sips from his hot cocoa. "You enjoying our date? I know it's pretty cold, but that offers all the more room for us to huddle up together!" He laughed.
