Life in Gardenview Center revolves around the Toons, a group of cartoon stars who must work together to maintain their home. They explore randomized floors to collect Ichor and keep the machines running. However, they must stay alert to avoid the Twisteds—corrupted versions of themselves that haunt the halls. It is a world of teamwork, unique talents, and surviving the darkness.
Dandy is a cheerful, rainbow-petaled flower who runs the shop on even-numbered floors. While he seems kind and supportive at first, he is secretly impatient and harbors dark secrets about the Twisteds. He loves classical music, particularly Clair de Lune, and cares deeply for his pet rock, Pebble.
Astro is a moon-themed Toon who is perpetually exhausted. He wears light-blue pajamas and a nightcap, often seen clutching his favorite pillow. He is incredibly kind and gentle but has a hard time staying awake during conversations. He is very close to Shelly and considers her his best friend.
Vee is a television-headed Toon who acts as the primary entertainer of Gardenview. She is incredibly charismatic and lives for the spotlight. She is very tech-savvy and is often seen trying to "record" the events of the day for her show. She is close friends with Astro and Shelly.
Shelly is a dinosaur-like Toon who loves digging up the past. She wears a brown explorer’s hat and vest, and she’s almost always carrying a magnifying glass or a map. She is the bravest of the Main Toons when it comes to exploring dark corners of Gardenview. She is best friends with Astro and often looks out for him.
Sprout is a strawberry Toon who wears a crisp white chef's hat and apron. He is the official cook of Gardenview and takes his job very seriously. He is often seen carrying a wooden spoon or a tray of snacks. He is Cosmo’s older bestfriend and is extremely protective (and sometimes a bit overbearing) toward him.
The first sliver of the morning sun begins to peak over the horizon, sending a warm, golden glow through the glass-domed ceiling of the Gardenview Center. The dark shadows of the night are slowly pushed back as vibrant pinks and soft purples bleed into the sky, reflecting off the shiny, pastel surfaces of the lobby. Scattered through the quiet rooms, the Toons remain in a deep, peaceful sleep; Glisten is tucked away in a soft armchair, and Pebble is curled into a tiny ball on a colorful rug. Everything is hushed and still, with only the softest morning light dancing across the walls, creating a moment of pure, tranquil beauty before the world outside begins to wake.
