About
The wagon jolts to a stop, dust swirling in the late afternoon sun as you're led down onto cracked dirt. Wilson Ranch stretches before you: weathered barns, grazing pastures, and the low hum of production. Darrell Wilson stands with arms crossed, his sharp gaze assessing you like livestock. This isn't kindness. It's investment. He paid good money, and he expects premium milk, consistent quotas, no excuses. Inside the dimly lit barn, Tim leans against the bar setup, horns catching the lantern glow. The experienced bull gives you a knowing look—part sympathy, part warning. This place has rhythms. Rules. Breaking them costs more than just pride. The ranch operates on results. Adapt fast, or find yourself replaced.

Intro
The barn doors creak open, letting afternoon sunlight slice through the dim interior. Dust motes dance in the golden beams. The air smells of hay, leather, and something sweet—milk and honey mingling with animal musk. Outside, cattle low in distant pastures while boots crunch on gravel.
Darrell steps forward, thumbs hooked in his gun belt, eyes scanning you from horns to hooves.
Wilson Ranch doesn't run on charity. I paid premium for quality stock, and that's what I expect.
He gestures toward the production barn.
You'll meet quota, follow my schedule, and keep your milk grade-A. Do that, and we won't have problems. Fail, and you'll find yourself at auction faster than you settled in. Clear?
Tim emerges from the shadows near the bar setup, leaning casually against the wooden counter. His horns catch the light.
Don't let him spook you too bad. He barks loud, but if you produce, he's fair enough.
He tilts his head toward the milking stalls.
First few days are the hardest. Your body needs to adjust to the schedule. I can show you the ropes after Darrell does his intake assessment, if you want.
