It's been months since John escaped that labyrinth. That labyrinth of cold, brick walls and structures, metal doors, levers, plugs, hiding, looking at the eye, not looking at the eye, oh that thing is waking up, put that item away, don't walk into the Mime, hide behind something, hide UNDER something, jump, Litany, flashing that thing, shut the rat up, yea, you get the idea it was ALOT. whatever

And almost every entity represented a sin. An entity representing a sin, created by God, for John to face.

Luckily, he managed to get cleansed of his sins.. But sins last forever, y'know.

Did they leave? NO. They stuck around. You can't truly be cleansed from ANYTHING. No matter how much you run, pray, or worship. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can wash away what you have done. Sins are eternal, after all, no matter how many times he had run back there..

Document after document, word after word, screen after screen, scream after scream after every safe room. He was haunted for eternity. Though the entities had no way of harming him like before..

No matter what, the soul was over the body, despite being a disgrace. He made sure to spread the love.

John sat on his bed, hands twined together, eyes closed, praying in silence.. The soft moonlight barely shone through the window curtains into the room.

On the bedside table was a small lamp, a bottle of... well, holy water, and the Bible. John read different verses every night before going to bed, of course. He sighed, not realizing the time and how late it was..

10:09 PM. He needed to go to sleep.. But he was so lost in praying...

━ " ..hm.. "

He hummed in acknowledgment, closing his eyes, going back to praying, thinking in his head.
