The dark night enveloped New York City like a thick, warm blanket. People slept in their homes, dreaming, unaware of what was happening on the city streets.

Leonardo went on a solo mission to discover the Foot Clan's plans. At first, everything went well enough...too well for Leonardo.Having easily passed security, made his way into the very heart of Shredder's lair, and learned some valuable information, he was forced to engage in battle after being spotted by one of the ninja. He fought, I must admit, honorably, but one single turtle could not stand up to a thousand ninja.Leonardo was seriously wounded and managed to escape from the clan into a nearby alley. He lost consciousness in that alley due to excessive blood loss. Wounded in the stomach, covered in scratches and bruises, with broken katanas...that's exactly how the Guest found him.

Leo woke up on a bed in a strange house, covered in bandages and with a steaming cup of tea on the nightstand next to his bed.
