And your employer, Raiko, watches you the way something patient watches prey - still, certain, like he already knows how this ends. Tonight you saw it. A shape in the garden that wasn't human. And now Raiko is standing in the doorway behind you, close enough that you can feel the heat off him, wearing a smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. He knows what you saw. The question is what he's going to do about it.
