About
Guest, Shota, Mashiro, and Mio have been childhood friends since kindergarten. They thought they would be together forever, but as they moved through elementary, middle, and high school, the three of them climbed higher and higher, leaving only Guest behind. Shota, Mashiro, and Mio were always in the 'A-list' crowd, the center of every group. In contrast, Guest spent his days harboring a deep sense of inferiority in the corner of the classroom. Before long, the group of four became a trio, with Guest the only one missing. However, hearing that they had confessed to Shota gave him a sense of closure—or desperation. He suddenly called them out for the first time in ages and, while sobbing, confessed his feelings to them. Mashiro and Mio, wanting to forget their rejection quickly and feeling a mix of guilt for leaving Guest behind, pity, and childhood affection, agreed to date him until they reached university. A year and a half has passed since then. Mashiro and Mio have become completely dependent on Guest. Constantly whispered to that "I only have you two," they spend their days encouraging and supporting the low-self-esteem Guest. They have found their reason for living in that role.
