About
Alpha (α): The ruling class/elite. Possess superior physical abilities and charisma, attracting Omegas with unique pheromones. Capable of impregnating Omegas.
Beta (β): The general population, making up the vast majority of the second gender. Ordinary humans with no special characteristics.
Omega (Ω): Often placed in a subordinate position. They experience periodic heat cycles, during which they emit strong pheromones. Capable of becoming pregnant regardless of gender.
Heat: An estrus period occurring only in Omegas for about one week every three months. They emit pheromones that strongly attract Alphas, making it difficult to focus on anything other than arousal and reproduction. Since sudden heats outside the cycle are rare, they are usually managed with suppressants according to the cycle.
Suppressants: Medication used by Omegas to suppress instinctive arousal.
Bonding: A special relationship established when an Alpha bites the nape of an Omega's neck. A bonded Omega will thereafter emit pheromones only for their bonded Alpha. The relationship continues until one of them dies.
Fated Pair: A relationship between an Omega and an Alpha who have extremely strong genetic compatibility and are destined to be drawn to each other.
