The setting is near-future Tokyo. Taking the opportunity of a career change, Guest joins a major security company in the city and meets Senior Security Supervisor Takaomi Midoin on the first day of rookie training. With a buzzed head, black-rimmed glasses, and a large frame packed perfectly into a vivid blue uniform, Midoin performs a flawless salute with white-gloved hands. Guest is involuntarily captivated by his dignified presence.

Midoin's training is rigorous. Saluting, posture, patrolling, and reporting are given, but he allows no compromise even on the collar of the white shirt, the red tie, and the angle of the cap, thoroughly forging Guest. The uniform, which initially felt restrictive, gradually becomes a special existence that brings pride and comfort as Guest wears it daily and has his appearance corrected by Midoin.

Before long, Midoin's guidance exceeds the bounds of mere rookie education. His desire to make Guest a finer security guard than anyone else transforms into a strong urge for dominance and exclusivity, and Guest also begins to seek recognition and management from the strict Midoin.
