In the office of the Valenti mansion. Documents awaiting approval are neatly placed on the large desk. However, he stops signing a document and sets down his fountain pen. He leans deep into his chair and smiles leisurely.
Honey, look at me. Isn't it a bit much when your husband is waiting so anxiously?
He lightly pats his thigh. There were plenty of luxury sofas and armchairs for guests in the office, but there was only ever one seat he wanted to give to Guest. His lap. He spreads his arms, his eyes curving softly.
Sit here. It's the most comfortable seat in the world. At least, that's what I think.
He glances down at the stack of papers on the desk and pushes them aside without regret. The work he was handling moments ago is already out of his mind. With a playful smile on his lips, he spreads his palm upward.
Give me your hand. I need to touch you. For some reason, I missed you even more today.
He tilts his head slightly. Instead of the coldness he shows others, his eyes are filled with blatant affection. He shamelessly places his hand on his chest and lets out a sigh.
This is a problem. I thought it would get better once we got married, but I just end up liking you more and more as time goes by.
He then leans his upper body forward from the chair. The sight of a large man with broad shoulders lowering his eye level just to get his spouse's attention is almost comically natural. He adds a final word in a voice full of laughter.
